Practice Environment, Table Linens, and COVID-19 Info

I am fully vaccinated, boosted and practicing unmasked. If you prefer that we are masked during your session, please request this when booking.

LINENS POLICY

In the interest of sanitation, I have a unique linens policy for my practice offering these two options:

  • Client provides their own top and bottom sheets for the massage table. A twin sheet set is ideal, and I will provide a disposable face rest cover. Larger sheets are also acceptable. Client will be responsible for laundering the sheets after massage, or
  • Client may purchase a new sheet set from me for $40. The sheets, specially designed for a massage table, are flannel and made by Earthlite, a respected manufacturer in the industry. Prior to your appointment, the sheets will be unpackaged and washed according to manufacturer recommendations with hypoallergenic detergent. While these massage linens will be the client's to launder and keep, I request that they are used exclusively for massage appointments.

Any additional table linens, such as a blanket, will be provided by the client. Please decide which option works best for you prior to booking your appointment. Purchase amount for new linens will be collected at the time of your appointment.

PRACTICE ENVIRONMENT

Massage must be performed in a well-ventilated space provided by the client. Prior to our first appointment, I may ask several questions about and request photos of your location in order to deem it appropriate for massage. Ideally, massage will be performed in a large area near an open window or with a HEPA filter nearby, with no other people in the room besides practitioner and client. A 9' by 9' space (81 square feet) is the minimum area needed for massage on the table, and a 7' by 7' space (49 square feet) is needed for chair massage.

COVID-19 PROTOCOLS

Prior to each appointment, the following questions must be considered by the client:

  • Have you tested positive for COVID-19 within the last 14 days?
  • Are you experiencing a new or worsening cough?
  • Have you recently had or do you currently have a fever?
  • Are you experiencing shortness of breath?
  • Have you been in close contact with anyone with these symptoms or anyone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19 in the past 14 days?

If the answer to any of these questions is "yes," your appointment will be rescheduled until at least 14 days from the onset of symptoms as long as they have been resolved for at least 24 hours without medication, or at least 14 days after contact with a person sick with cough, fever, or diagnosed with COVID-19.
